The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 116

Welcome from Karens blog this week.

My oh my I absolutely love these colours!!

I must say I also absolutely love this new stampset and thinlits too!!

The background of the large hot air balloon I used my sponge daubers and made a gradual rainbow background with the colours. I think it worked perfectly. It is just a shame that the picture doesn't show how shimmery the pink balloon is at the bottom.

  • Stamps: Lift Me Up
  • Ink: Rose Red, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Elegant Eggplant and Flirty Flamingo
  • Card: Whisper White, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Elegant Eggplant, Flirty Flamingo and Cupcakes & Carousels DSP paper stack
  • Tools: Up & Away Thinlits Dies with the Bigshot, Stampin Write Markers and sponge daubers
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals & Wink of stella

Next on the hop is back around to Jane

ESAD 2017 Occasions & Saleabration Catalogue Sneak Peek

Welcome from Samantha's blog.

This is a sneaky peek of what is to come next month for Saleabration and the Occasions Catalogues.

So I have combined two sets that work together perfectly.

  • Stamps: Cool Treats & Tasty Trucks
  • Ink:  Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate & Staz On
  • Card: Whisper White, Watercolour Paper, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight & Tempting Turquoise
  • Tools: Layering Squares Framelits with the Bigshot, Triple Banner Punch, Black Stampin Write Marker and aqua painter
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals
Combining a set from the Occasions catalogue with a set from Saleabration works so so well.
I used Cool Treats as the background stamping on the Turquoise and Daffodil panels.

Next on the hop is the super amazing Kelly who does the most amazing work and I am proud to also call her a friend. (This is the most awesome thing about Stampin' Up! I would never have met her if it wasn't for my little hobby)

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 112

Welcome from Cindys blog this week.

I did think no I won't use anything from the upcoming catalogue but I couldn't resist having a play with the new Balloon Adventures Bundle. I did steer away from the Party Animal DSP and used the new Sending Love Paper Stack as I wanted it to be Red..
(It is for a very very special friend of mine who has a birthday this weekend and who hopefully isn't reading this blog right about now.....)

I stuck the silver balloon on to the pop up part only by one side so it wasn't folded in the middle.

  • Stamps: Balloon Adventures
  • Ink: Real Red, Memento, Watermelon Wonder
  • Card: Whisper White, Real Red, Silver Glimmer Paper, Watermelon Wonder and Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack
  • Tools: Stitched Framelits & Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies with the Bigshot
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals

Next on the hop is Anna  I bet her creation is very specky  :-)

Onstage Live Brisbane 2016 - Display Board samples - Last post

So this is my third and final post about Brisbane Onstage Live 2016

My Display Board sets were The Cool Treats Bundle consisting of the Cool Treats stampset and Frozen Treats Frametlis Dies

My first card was a shaker Card it immediately popped into my head when I saw the set.

I mixed it up a bit with my card making as I had so many ideas swarming in my head. The remainder of cards/ projects with this suite were

Black always makes the colour pop

Then again so does white...
a mini box card was the perfect size

Black and white as a background always looks great.

Stamping the icecreams as a background to make DSP worked well too.

These colours were perfect for icecreams.

My children did not hesitate when I said "lets go for icecream so mummy can get some pics"

To be perfectly honest I could have just kept going with this set..... I love it so so much!!

I also had the new hostess set Iconic Occasions to play with too.... This set I actually found a little challenging.... I love challenges

This is the box I made for the above 9 notecards to go inside.... I took this pic after onstage so it has seen better days....

So there you have it my massive Onstage fun Challenges...
Might see you in April for Onstage Local???

Onstage Live Brisbane 2016 (Post number 2)

This year is Stampin' Up's! 10th year in the South Pacific Market... WOW!!
I am lucky to have been a part of it for nearly 6 years..

This post is a post with pics of display boards, people and milestones.
My major milestone was my 5 year walk

I was super lucky to have done this with my SU buddy Renae Crosby (Crozlow Crafts)

She is such a bright fun person and we get along ever so well. I am lucky I joined Stampin' Up! or I would have never met such gorgeous people!
Here are a few more gorgeous people..

I am so so super lucky to have met such a talented group of beautiful people and this is journey is so super fun to be on... If you wish to join me visit http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/nicolewilson/jointhefun and you can also be a part of my team the Inkypinks.

This was my Silver Elite walk which I wasn't actually expecting to do.

Here are some of the pictures of the display boards from Onstage.

Can you pick which ones were mine? I will make a final post about Onstage in the next few days so you can see the individual pictures.
